I’ve been fascinated by Japan and its culture since I was a kid, and have been translating Japanese professionally since 2018. I’m a fervent believer in translation’s ability to create connections around the world and to expand readers’ worldviews. I highly value faithfulness to whatever original text I’m working on, while also striving to create a similar experience for an English reader. I’m comfortable working in a wide variety of genres and styles, and am always curious about new stories.

In addition to manga, my experience also includes translating prose fiction, the guidebook for a deck of oracle cards, and press releases, editing a translation of a cat-themed self-help book, and checking other people’s translations for accuracy.
